Meta has finally found a willing buyer for Giphy, the animate GIF search engine it toptechtrends.com/2020/05/15/facebook-to-acquire-giphy-in-a-deal-reportedly-worth-400-million/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>acquired for $400 million three years ago.
The move comes some seven months after the U.K.’s antitrust authority toptechtrends.com/2022/10/18/meta-giphy-acquisition-cma-sale-order/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>issued a final order for Meta to sell Giphy, on the grounds that the merger reduced dynamic competition.
