This policy explains what personal data TopTechTrends (“we”, “us”) collects when you use toptechtrends.co, why we collect it and the choices you have. If you have questions, email support@toptechtrends.co.

What we collect

  • Newsletter sign-ups: if you subscribe to the Weekly Signal, we collect your email address and the page you signed up on. It is stored securely on our own server and with our email provider, Mailchimp, and used only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Emails you send us: if you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to keep a record of corrections.
  • Server logs: our server records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to keep the site secure and working, and keep it for a limited time.
  • Site preferences: if you switch between light and dark mode, your browser stores that choice on your device. It is not sent to us.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and advertising

We show ads to keep TopTechTrends free. Our advertising partner, Google, may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure how they perform. These ads may be personalised based on your visits to this and other websites, where the law allows it and you have agreed.

  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and can change that choice at any time.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com.
  • Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Third-party services

  • Google Fonts: our fonts load from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them.
  • Mailchimp: stores newsletter subscriber emails.
  • Google AdSense: serves ads as described above.
  • Google Analytics: tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. It uses cookies and receives your IP address. We use the reports only in aggregate to improve the site. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are not tracked with cookies unless they agree. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.

Links to other websites, including affiliate links, are covered by those websites’ own privacy policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@toptechtrends.co. We respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

TopTechTrends is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
