Reddit vs Redditors and other TC news

This week on the TechCrunch Podcast, I’m stepping in for the podcast’s usual host Darrell, and taking a closer look at what’s happening at Reddit. The popular social media company seems to be hell-bent on alienating as much of its user base as possible after introducing a policy that significantly increases the price of access to its API. The move may be a reaction to toptechtrends.com/2023/06/01/fidelity-reddit-valuation/?activate-overlay=true”>Fidelity cutting its Reddit valuation by more than 40% since its 2021 investment. In any case, the users ain’t happy.
